I have spent the last 10 years working as a Personal Trainer and I absolutely loved it. In the fitness world you pretty much have no choice but to start a business. Each Personal Trainer in a gym is an independent contractor. When I first started at 20 years old, I had no idea how to run a business. Sure I’d seen both my parents do it, and be incredibly successful, but I had no real idea of the ins and outs of it. So I started researching. I spent the last 10 years reading every business book I could get my hands on, reading every blog post, watching every video and taking any course I could so I could learn about marketing, processes and systems. You name it I read it. I got lost in a rabbit hole of women building online businesses and I was totally hooked.
I used these techniques to build a successful fitness business, BUT as the early mornings and late nights took their toll, I started to lose interest in the industry. So I closed the doors to my Personal Training business in July 2017 and spent 3 months trying to figure out what to do next.
The self-doubt set in. I want to work with women who run businesses online, I love supporting women in business, I love talking strategy and time management… but who am I to teach people that? I don’t have the qualifications or experience.
What I realised, is that I had been putting off the one thing I wanted to do for years because I was afraid. I was afraid of the judgement and I was afraid of failing. I think we’ve all had these thoughts from time to time.
As women we struggle with balancing all the things in our life. Running our homes, organising the kids, our involvement in our community… and add to that a business, our own goals and dreams for our future and we tend to put all our other commitments before what we want to do.
We want to do everything. We want to be organised and productive. We want to have a successful business so we can support our families. But with so many things on our plate, we become overwhelmed and stressed out and have no idea how to move forward. Add to that the self-doubt and fear we have of failing, and it’s no wonder we’re holding ourselves back.
As a Business, Time-Management and Productivity Coach, I help overwhelmed, frazzled and stressed-out women get control over the chaos. To get clear on their priorities and focus on the things that matter most – including their own self care and mental health.
I’ve been in your shoes, feeling like there is so much to do, that you might as well do the 3 loads of laundry instead of writing your sales page. Procrastinating on sending emails out and scrolling facebook instead.
I want you to remember that you can be, do and have everything you want, but you can’t do it all at once.
If you feel totally chaotic right now, like you have all the puzzle pieces but you don’t have the time or energy to figure out how they all go together, and you need more structure in your life and your business, I’m here to help.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me a bit about where you are now, and where you want to be, and we’ll work together to get you there. Step by step.
I’ll be your cheerleader, your accountability buddy, your tough love and your organiser. We’ll cut out the unimportant and focus on the things that are going to make your business dreams a reality, while still maintaining your sanity.
I can’t wait to hear from you.
